LAMDA offers a wide range of exams, whether you are going solo or wanting to take your exams with friends, just getting started, or are ready to build on your skills, LAMDA have something that will suit you perfectly. 

When you pass a LAMDA exam, you'll gain an internationally recognised qualification. Earn UCAS points for University applications, or use your qualification for the Duke Or Edinburgh Award.

Level 3 - Speech and Drama

The LAMDA Level 3 Certificate in Speech and Drama: Performance Studies (PCertLAM) is designed to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding required to prepare and perform a recital. Learners who prepare themselves appropriately will develop interpretive skills, technical skills and knowledge of the performance process.

Recognised at Level 3 on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), this qualification is a great option for Learners who have already completed a Grade 8 examination in Speaking Verse and Prose, Acting, Reading for Performance or Musical Theatre.

Shakespeare For Performance

Available in three levels, our Shakespeare for Performance qualifications is designed for learners who wish to discover the work of the world’s most famous writer in the English language. Exploring language and form, this syllabus returns to the fundamental reason behind why Shakespeare created his plays: to be performed.
